Heat Controls

Heat is our biggest expense. We need to be conservative.

Each floor has it’s own thermostat, centrally located in the hallways. We have them programmed to heat and cool when we are there. Going up in the morning. Staying warm till we leave then going down while we are skiing. Going back up late afternoon through bedtime. Then going down over night.

If you find you need to adjust the heat because you are there on a cooler time period. Feel free. Just push the UP pad/swith shown below on the control which adjust the projected heat indicated on the left of each screen.

First to arrive for a weekend you will need to take them off of vacation HOLD mode.
Open the cover plate

Push the HOLD button.

The HOLD text will turn off. The system will now go into it’s regular scheduled heat cycles.

Last to leave please put the heat controls into vacation HOLD mode.

Open cover.Push HOLD button till the text HOLD appears

Push the down button till the projected temperature text goes to 55 degrees.

You have now successfully put the house into vacation mode.
Downstairs if your room becomes cold. Open your door a little to help moderate the control.
